Halligan-mcCabe-deVries Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. mary Jean teduits was born on June 8, 1933, on the family farm in eldridge, ia to aloysius (alvie) and marie (Brus) ted- uits. she attended grade school in a one room schoolhouse, Blue Grass, until her family moved to davenport where she graduated from immaculate Conception academy. mary then attended iowa state teachers College in Cedar Falls. mary worked briefly in davenport before accepting a job in Kansas City, mO, with a major airline.

thus began her life- long love of travel. promotion in the travel industry next took her to Phoenix where, with the help of her broth- er Ben, she met the love of her life, Harry Brizzee. mary and Harry were united in marriage in august of 1963. While on one of their numerous camping adventures, mary and Harry fell in love with Prescott. after moving to Prescott from Phoenix, mary secured a job at a local travel agency.

Within their tiny little neighborhood off Cory ave, mary be- came known as the of Pine for keeping a watch- ful eye on the area. she was active in her parish of sacred Heart Catholic Church and volunteered at the yavapai Coun- ty jail. after 43 years in Prescott, mary decided to live clos- er to her sister and brother in the midwest, moving back to davenport in 2014. survivors include her siblings, Helene Hood, davenport, and Ben (marilyn) teduits, madison, Wisconsin; her stepchil- dren, serina Colvin and James (Patty) Brizzee, all of Phoe- nix; a daughter-in-law, Carla Brizzee, Wisconsin; and many step-grandchildren who affectionately called her along with nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great nieces. mary was preceded in death by her husband, Harry, in 1998, as well as her parents; a brother and sister-in-law, John and Patricia teduits; brother-in-law, Jim Hood; stepsons, Har- ry Brizzee, Jr.

Frank was united in mar- riage to shirley scieszinski, October 10, 1959 in Ottum- wa, iowa. she preceded him in death, march 22, 2022. they shared over 62 years of mar- riage and memories together. Frank was a former mem- ber of st. and st.

antho- ny Catholic Church and currently a member of Our Lady of Vic- tory. He enjoyed volunteering for the scott County meal service and the moline senior Center. Frank was an avid Chicago Bears, st. Louis Cardinals, and iowa Hawkeyes fan. those left to honor his memory include his children: steven (susan) sinnott, deWitt, Cynthia (Bill) sweeney, davenport, and michael (sherry) sinnott, eldridge; grandchildren: amie (Jus- tin) slapnika, evan (maddie) sinnott, Lauren and Kory swee- ney, Nathan (ariel) sinnott, and tyler sinnott (Kayla Hagen); great-grandchildren: Ciara, meredith, Roslyn, Vivienne, and talia; siblings, Patrick sinnott of albia, iowa and mary (Ger- ald) Wilwert of davenport.

al- phonsus Catholic Church, when he was home on leave from the army air Corp. He returned to his post after they were mar- ried, and was shipped overseas to the european theater during WWii, and mom went to work at the Rock island arsenal. after the war, dad returned home, and they started their life together. they bought a house in the west end of davenport, and raised five children together Barbara, Connie, Vicki, Johnny and debbie. after 46 years together, dad passed away.

mom was a wonderful mother and Grandmother. she loved having her family and friends around her that was her great- est joy. she also loved playing cards, going out to eat, and attend- ing mass at st. alphonsus. We will miss her every day! Love you, mom! elizabeth is survived by daughters, Connie (ernie) seitz, Vicki (Jerry) meyer and debbie Pavano; sons-in-law John masengarb and Gerardo Pavano; seven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Cook Hos- pice House. Bill died peacefully march 8, 2023 at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House. William Charles Glowacki was born June 27th, 1935, in dav- enport, a son of Vincent J. and marie (schier) Glowacki.

Bill served in the u.s. army. He earned a Registered Pharmacy degree from Creighton university, a Bachelors degree in Nurs- ing from marycrest College, and a degree in Nurse anesthesia from the Johns Hopkins Hospital. Bill was united in marriage to sharon Roder on august 28th, 1965, at Blessed sacrament Catholic Church in sioux City, iowa. Bill enjoyed daily mass, Boundary Water trips, golf, fishing and spending time with his family and grandchildren.

mr. tappendorf passed away saturday, march 11, 2023, at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf. Robert Curtis tappendorf was born december 12, 1934, in davenport, the son of elmer and eileen (Lane) tappendorf. He was united in marriage to madeline Cook on march 17, 1953 in davenport.

in 1973, Bob and maddy created a home- based business named For 35 years, together they enjoyed the benefits and challenges of their busi- ness, which has now been passed on to their son. Whether it was by joining a snowmobiling club, riding horses, riding Har- leys with his wife or socializing with their many dear friends; they lived life to the fullest. maddy preceded him in death on January 9, 2008. DAVENPORT Teresa Jean Wright August 3, 1964-March 1, 2023 teresa Jean Wright, 58, passed away peacefully at her home in santa Fe, texas with her partner steve Petron by her side on march 1, 2023. teresa was born in Oma- ha, Ne, the daughter of Kar- leen (Johnson) young and Clay- ton d. Wright.

she grew up in Rock island, iL and was raised by her mother Karleen (John- son) young and the support of many family members. tere- sa attended school in Rock is- land and then left the area as a young adult. Her travels took her to the Bahamas, anchorage, aK, Colorado and then finally to the Houston area. Her career was spent in the aviation support industry. she retired from uni- versal aviation in Houston, tX.

teresa spent the past 21 years with her partner steve Petron. they enjoyed watching Nascar racing and helping out at a local race track. Her life long pas- sion as an animal lover kept her homes filled with rescue dogs and cats. she volunteered with the Great dane animal rescue for many years and loved finding homes for these gentle giants. Left to cherish her precious memory is her partner steve Petron of santa Fe, tX; mother Karleen (Johnson) young of Rock island, iL; sister Rochelle Wright of Colorado springs, CO; step brother Oliver Wright of Newport Beach, Ca; and several cous- ins, aunts, nieces, nephews.

she was preceded in death by her father Clayton d. Wright and former husband terry Jackson. teresa will be missed dearly. We will carry the love she be- stowed in our hearts. are only for those who love with their eyes.
