Jane Marlowe was born Aug. 29, 1918, in Charlotte. She married Alger Buech in 1952. He died in 1977. A memorial fund has been established.

She died Nov. 26, 2001, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids, after a heart attack. She was an ordained minister. Joyce Tillery was born April 3, 1932, in Hot Springs, Ark.

She married Melvin Williams in 1947 in Patterson, Calif. She married Sterling "Eddie" James in 1953 in Tomball, Texas. They founded the Crossroads of Life Church, Oxford Junction. He died in 1998. Survivors include daughters, Bonnie Harvey, Hot Springs, and Joan Seaburg and Roxanna Graves, both of Oxford Junction; sons, Keith Williams, Don- Stan James, Albany, Joe James, Oxford Junction, and Robert James, Nashville, 31 grandchildren; five greatgrandchildren; her Clifton Seidel, Wyoming, Iowa; sisters, Ida Tillery and Faye Anderson, both of Manteca, and Pat Burgess, Fresno, and brothers, Larry Tillery, Merced, and Doug Tillery, Modesto, Calif.

Marion Bartel MORRISON, Ill. Marion Bartel, 98, Morrison, died Friday, Nov. 30, 2001, at Rest Haven Nursing Home, Morrison. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at St.

Mrs. Bartel served as a housekeeper at the parishes of her son, the Rev. Leo Bartel. Marion Allen was born June 30, 1903, in rural Lyndon. She married Leo Bartel Sr.

in 1931 in Fulton. He died inn 1950. Survivors include daughter, Mary Real, Mount Carroll, Elizabeth Bartel, Bonham, Texas, and Joan Sandoval, Sterling; sons, Rev. Mrs. Hall was employed as a welder during World War II. Bethine Kilbane was born May 13, 1924, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. She married Charles Hall in 1945 in Omaha, Neb. He died in 2000.
