Ruth Fuller was born May 31, 1932, in Clinton County. She married Helmuth "Al" Feddersen in 1960 in Clinton. He preceded her in death. Survivors include a daughter, Lisa Owen, Marshalltown; two grandchildren; and a sister, Verna Petersen, and a brother, Harry Fuller, both of Clinton.

4, 1917, in Rock Island. He married Ethel Johnson in 1955 in Moline. During World War II, he was involved in the Manhattan Project. Memorials may be made American Heart Association or a favorite charity. Survivors include his wife, Ethel; a daughter, Diane Kruse, Moline; a son, David, Bettendorf; and four grandchildren.

today at Douglas Thompson ROCK ISLAND Douglas A. Thompson, 49, a resident of Iowa Veterans Home, Marshall-town, formerly of the Quad-City area, died Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2000, at the home. The body will be cremated. Burial will be in National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal.

Estel Perrin Avey Funeral Home, Marshalltown, is in charge of arrangements. He was born May 25, 1951, in Sioux City, Iowa. He married Mabel Reeves in 1983 in Rock Island. He had served in the Air Force. Survivors include a daughter, Jill Thompson, and a son, Cory, both of Moline; and two sisters.

Bettendorf James Koprucki BETTENDORF Funeral services for James A. "Jim" Koprucki, 85, Bettendorf, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Bettendorf. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Davenport. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m.

Friday evening, with a 7:30 p.m. vigil service, at Weerts Funeral Home, Davenport. Jim died Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2000, at Genesis Medical Center-West Campus, Davenport. He was born Jan.

26, 1915, in Milwaukee, to Vincent B. and Anna M. (Hamerski) He married Aileen Finn on Aug. 17, 1940, at St. Paul Catholic Church, Davenport.

He was employed as a supervisor at Alcoa for 29'A years. Spending time at the cabin was among his many interests, along with fishing, water skiing and golfing. He and his wife, Aileen, also enjoyed many world travels in their retirement. Jim was a co-founder of the Quad-City Ostomy Association. He also was a life member of Elks Club 298 of Davenport and was a member of Alcoa Retirees.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Genesis Visiting Nurses Association, Quad-City Ostomy Association or Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Bettendorf. Mrs. Matheis died Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2000, at Oak Glen Home, Coal Valley Hodgson Funeral Home Rock Island, is in charge of arrangements. She was employed as an actuary at Modern Woodmen of America. She retired in 1970.

Helen Baird was born Jan. 3, 1925, in Rock Island. She married Louis Matheis in 1946 in Rock Island. He died in 1981. Survivors include a son, Lauerence A.

Scott had worked 20 years for International Dairy Queen and had just begun a new career with Captain D's Restaurant when he was killed on his last night of training in Smyrna.

He was born June 7, 1958, in Chicago, a son of Fred and Elinor Myers. He married Julie Merideth on Nov. 3, 1984, in Colona. Scott was raised in Chicago and was an avid Cubs fan. He was a humanitarian and also served as an usher at his church.

He was a very good husband and an awesome Dad. Everyone who knew and loved him will miss him dearly Survivors include his wife, Julie; daughters Amanda, Allison and Ashley, all-at home; his mother, Bradenton, a brother, Stuart, of Texas; and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Ron and Sharon Merideth, Silvis. Scott was preceded in death by his father, Fred. She was employed as a service assistant at Illinois Bell Telephone Rock Island, for 25 years. She retired in 1969.

Beatrice Cunningham was born Sept. 20, 1912, in Hartford City, Ind. She married Alvin Mohr in 1937 in Rock Island. He died in 1970. She married Howard Ludwick in 1973 in Montezuma, Iowa.

Survivors include sisters, Mary Axt, Pequot, and Dorine Magnuson, Chattanooga, Tenn. Frances Reed DAVENPORT Services for Frances A. Reed, 90, Davenport, will be 10 a.m. Friday at Halli-gan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery, Davenport.

Visitation is 4-7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mrs. Reed passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday morning at her home. Frances Ade Mrs.

Prayers will be recited at Mrs. Runquist Taylor Ridge Mary Castor TAYLOR RIDGE, 111. Mary G. Castor, 88, Taylor Ridge, died Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2000, at Lutheran Homes, Muscatine, Iowa.

Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Buffalo Prairie Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Muscatine Memorial Park. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Friday at the church.

Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home, Muscatine, is in charge of arrangements. Mary Hessman was born April 21, 1912, in rural Buffalo Prairie. She married John Castor in 1935 in Nashua, Iowa.

They worked side by side on the family farm. He died in 1991. Memorials may be made to the church. 8, 2000, at Trin 10:30 a.m. Friday at Halli-gan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at National Hpmptprv line Glasgow was born March 23, 1910, in Moline, to Edward and Minnie (Laughlin) Glasgow. She married Fred L. Reed on June 20, 1936, in Peoria, 111.

Memorials may be made to St Alphonsus Catholic Church. Survivors include her husband, Fred; daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Dick Sieverd-ing, a son, John Reed, grandsons, Richard Schutters, Randy Schutters, Heath Reed, and his wife, Colleen, and Chris Sieverding, and a granddaughter, Christina Stroud, all of Davenport. Also surviving are great-grandchildren, Kara and Erika Reed, and Steven, Zachary and Randy Schutters II; and several nieces and nephews. Holdorf Milan Edith Kinnamon MILAN, 111. Services for Edith L. Kinnamon, 76, a resident of Oak Glen Home, Coal Valley, formerly of Milan, will be 10 a.m. Friday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Milan.

Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. today at ity Medical Center-West Island. Campus, Rock Wheelan Funeral Home, Rock Island, with a wake at 7:30 p.m. Mrs.

Kinnamon died Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2000, at the nursing home Mrs. Kinnamon Rock Island Mr. Wolbers Arsenal, with Early photo military services conducted. Mr.

Wolbers had been employed as a maintenance engineer for Johnson Manufacturing Princeton, Iowa, for 13 years. Roy was born Feb. 3, 1921, in Otter Creek, Iowa, a son of Bernard and Catherine (Hutchins) Wolbers. He married Marie Meyers on Nov. 13, 1944, in Davenport.

During World War II, he served in the Army Air Corps. His memberships included St. Anthony's Catholic Church and Quad-City Times Plus 60 Club. His hobbies included gardening and the outdoors. He was a leader and always willing to lend'a helping hand.

He loved dogs, especially his buddy Max. He was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed by his family, friends and neighbors. Survivors include his wife, Marie; a son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Marcla Wolbers, Bettendorf; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Margaret Theisen, Dubuque, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents and 10 brothers and sisters. Anna Ruckman was born Dec.

27, 1954, in Rock Island, to Dale and Bonnie (Brown) Ruckman. She married Gary Holdorf on Sept. 2, 1989, in Rock Island. She was employed 25 years as an accounting technician at Rock Island Arsenal. She retired in 1999 due to ill health.

She was a member of Fifteenth Avenue Christian Church. She was a former member of Memorial Christian Church, Rock Island, where she had been very active. She had served as a junior deaconess at Memorial Christian, was involved in a local 4-H club, had been a candy striper at the former St. Anthony's Hospital and had volunteered at the former Franciscan Medical Center. She enjoyed bingo and did flower arranging.

She had received many awards for her designs. Memorials may be made to an educational fund for her son, Adam. Survivors include her husband, Gary; son, Adam, at home; her parents, of Rock Island; sister, Rita Korthals, East Moline; brothers, Rickey and Dale Anthony "Tony" Ruckman, both of San Antonio; and nieces and nephuws. Maynard Tervelt MORRISON, 111. Services for Maynard B.

Tervelt, 86, a resident of Resthave Nursing Home, will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Morrison Chapel of Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home. Burial will be in Grove Hill Cemetery, Morrison. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Mr, Tervelt died Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2000, at the nursing home. He retired in 1976 after 32 years with the City of Morrison. Before that, he worked at the Morrison Royal Blue Store and Savanna Army Depot. He sold tickets and was a ticket taker at Morrison High School athletic events.

He worked at more than 1,500 games in 57 years. He was born Nov. 5, 1913, in Fargo, N.D. He married Viola Bush in 1941 in Morrison. She died in 1990.

Memorials may be made to the Ebenezer Reformed Church Radio Fund, Morrison. Survivors include a son, Vern, Morrison; two grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and seven step-gieat-grandchildren. Elsewhere Janice Wiemann COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa Janice M. Wiemann, 55, Council Bluffs, died Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2000, at Halmark Nursing Home and Rehabilitation, St.

Edwards, Neb. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at McCurdy Funeral Home, Council Bluffs. Burial will be later. Survivors include sons, Del, of Germany, and Kelly, Council Bluffs; her mother, Lorraine Mai-one, Sheffield; sisters, Kathryn Eakins, Ottumwa, Iowa, Sandra Chance, Davenport, and Mnrlona Kisentniger, Sheffield; brothers, Steven Malono, Sheffield, and John Malono, Ottumwa; and grandmother, Helen lirouwers, both of Sheffield.

She was preceded In death by her husband, Oscar Wiemann, in 1976. i after an extended battle with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease. She was employed as a foreman at the former Sash and Door Rock Island, and later worked at Regalia Manufacturing Rock Island. Edith Potter was born Aug. 31, 1923, In Rock Island.

She married Maynard Kinnamon in 1944 in Tampa, Fla. He died in 1992. Memorials may be made to the church or a favorite charity. Survivors include sisters, Dorothy Walt, Moline, and Mary Davis, Rock Island; brothers, Norman Potter, Silvis, and John Potter, Milan; and a very special friend, Andrew Hovonick, Milan..
