Harmsen-Zaehringer Stacey Harmsen, Clinton, Iowa, daughter of Candy Harmsen and Gary Harmsen, both of Clinton, is engaged to Todd Zaehr.inger, Clinton, son of Marcia and Wayne Zaehringer, Clinton. and Mr. Paul D. Sivill, Milan, 111., will observe their 50th wedding anniversary Friday. They also are planning a cruise to the Panama Canal at a later date. Nancy Brownfield and Mr.

Sivill were married Jan. 15, 1949, at Church of Peace, United Church of Christ, Rock Island. Mr. Sivill worked 30 years at International Harvester East Moline Works, retiring in 1976 as a machhie repairman. His wife worked 30 years at Illinois Bell Telephone Rock Island, retiring in 1978 as a manager's clerk in the plant department.

They are members of Memorial Heights United Methodist Rock Island. Melton-Horn Sarah E. Melton, daughter of Larry and Sonja Melton, Moline, is engaged to Dean A. Horn, Silvis, III, son of Kathy Horn, New Windsor, 111. Miss Melton graduated from United Township High School, East Moline, and Black Hawk College, Moline, with an associate's degree in general social services.

Schutt, daughter of Dr. Edward and Kay Pratt, Lost Nation, Iowa, and Mark and Melodie Schutt, Calamus, Iowa, is engaged to Charles E. Speers, son of James and Jesse Garlough, Wheatland, Iowa. Miss Schutt graduated from Newfound Regional High School, Bristol, N.H., and attends Clinton (Iowa) Community College.
