Patrons were fashion curious and eager to support the Tri-City Panhellenic's Scholarship Loan program to which proceeds will go. Interest free. it's open to any girl desiring college, university or nursing school training.

Once the luncheon tables were cleared the show began with Miss Iowa, Jeanne Fromanek, drifting down the runway in a heavenly blue chiffon gown with beaded bodice. Models twirled beside a softly lighted fountain and clusters of azaelas. There was the midas touch during one segment filled with sparkling stockings, sequined gowns and glittery brocades. Then drifting chiffons, purple over red silk: pale pink over pink; long, ice cream colored wool evening coats jeweled buttons securing little half belts in back. THE STATUS fur -chinchil- la banded banker's grey suits and appeared again as a stole over a grey silk gown.

Culottes swept to the floor and up above the knees for the young, young look. Prettiest was the full white cotton one topped with crocheted Irish lace blouse and belted wide.
