Others who add to the fun include Bert Lahr as the Cowardly lion, Jack Haley as the jaunty Tin Woodman, the late Frank Morgan as the Wizard, Billie Burke as the kind Glinda, and Margaret Hamil ton as the Wicked Witch, who can perform formidable feata of witchcraft but whose wicked designs on Dorothy are ultimately defeated. You don't see many pictures like "The Wizard of Oz." captivating performance as the little girl, Dorothy, who Is blown adventures are both touching and hilarious in a story of imaginative make-believe that touches the heart of youngsters and adults alike. ffijj jj jack iM; Wizard of which has gone down in Hollywood history as one of the greatest musicals ever made, has been brought back to the screen by M-G-M at the Coronet Theater, TTvs is the Technicolor picture which started Judy Garland off on a spectacular career eliminating in her recent triumph in "A Star is Born," and one of the songs she sings, "Over the Rainbow," remains a popular favorite with vocal artiste through out the world. Millions have read the L. Frank Batim book on which "The' Wizard of Oz" is based and many of them npplaudrd the memorable musical film version when it was first released.
