Pallbearers were Albert Klinger, John Klinger, Dale Gibbs. Gerald Sel- by, Everett Selby and GaroldJel- lison. Interment was in Corydon Ce-- metery. KAY R. SNODGRASS Ray R.

Snodgrass was born July 22, 1903, the son of Robert V. and Hattie Brewer Snodgrass of Powersville, Mo. Ray was united in marriage to Goldie Goode at Princeton, June 24, 1922. She survives, together with their two daugh- ters, Leona Shaffer of Unionville, and Louise Nickell of Al- lerton, as well as nine grand- children and a brother, Oral i Snodgrass, of Lineville. Several nieces and nephews and other relatives also survive.

His parents preceded him in death. He was a farmer in the vicinity of Powersville all his active life. In his youth, he joined the Powersville Methodist Church, and later attended the church at Cleopatra, near his home. He had been ill since this past fall, and had been several months a patient in the Ellis Fishel Hospital at Columbia, Mo where he passed away on April 3, 1969, at the age of 65 i years, eight months and 11 days. He was a good neighbor and a kind and loving husband and father.

He was always ready to help them. Funeral services were conducted at the Husted Funeral Home Sunday, April 6, at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Glen Lochhead. Interment was in the Powersville Cemetery.

The pallbearers were Robert Snodgrass, Fred Watson, Wayne Wyant, Donald Bomgardner, Earl Brown and William Bruner. CLARA HULDA MYERS Clara Hulda Myers, daughter of Theresa and Gustov Krug, was born June 30, 1830 in Saxony, Germany and passed away at the Wayne County Hospital in Corydon, Iowa April 26, 1969 at the age of 88 years, nine months, and 26 days. On December 1907 she was united in marriage to Francis Lee Myers at St. John, Kansas. To this union two daughters were born.

She was confirmed into the German Evangelical Church when she was a young girl. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and two brothers and two sisters. Survivors include her brother, William Krug of Hudson, Kansas; two daughters, Grace Dyer of Allerton and Gladys McDowell of Leon and their husbands, Wayne and Dean; one half-sister, Hedwig Messerly of Sublet, five grandchildren, Phyllis Whitney of San Jose, Jerry Dyer of Cedar Rapids, Shirley Whiton of Des Moines, Sharon Hutchison of Des Moines, and Larry McDowell who is currently serving in Vietnam; and nine great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. She enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and will be missed by all. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, April 28, 1969, at 2 p.m.

at the Randolph Funeral Home in Allerton with the Rev. Bonnie Ratieke officiating. Burial was in the Garden Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers were Robert Ter-, rill, Clarence Gerald Bright, Dale Gibbs, Ronnie Van Dyne and Ralph Frampton. LOLASTATTON Lola Statton, daughter of Mr.

and Mrs. James Clark Selby, was born near Harvard, Iowa March 4, 1894 and passed away April 22, 1969 at the Wayne County Hospital at the age of 75 years, one month, and 18 days. She was united in marriage February 26, 1913 to Finnis Statton of Wallace, Nebr. and resided on a farm near there for 37 years. They then moved to their present home north of Allerton.

Leaving to mourn her passing is her husband, Finnis, and adopted daughter, Mrs. Ruby Callantine; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Lottie Slack, and husband, George, of Yakima, Washington; one brother, Lester Selby, and wife of Corydon. She also leaves several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, one brother and one grandchild.

Mrs. Statton accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior when a young girl. MEN WANTED: At once. 22-30 years, for training as variety store managers. High School Education required.

13-lt-c Order Your At The Office of The Times -Re publican Obituaries DELBERT CLARE COUCHMAN Delbert Clare Couchman of Sewal passed away on Monday evening April 21, 1969. Clave was born April 7, 1917 to Frank and Nellie Couchman of Sewal. Clare was united in marriage to Nell Williamson who passed away soon after their marriage. He was united in marriage to Ruby Hook Lindow on September 15, 1946. To that marriage was born one daughter, Clare Catherine of Sewal, and the adoption of Delbert of Gardena, Calif.

Left to mourn his passing are his immediate family, including four grandchildren of Gardena, California; five brothers: Leo, Victor, Lewis and George, all of Sewal, and James of Knox-ville; two sisters, Thelma Andrews of Mt. Ayr and Dorothy Clark of Des Moines. Clare was a veteran of the Second World War having served in the Pacific Theater. He farmed all his life near Sewal. He was a member of the United Methodst Church of Sewal.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 24, 1969, from the Wolf Funeral in Corydon, Iowa with the Rev. Gary Robertson officiating. were Cleo Bolting-house, Kermit Warren, Jimmy Levis, Harvey Morgan, Graydon Parker and Everett Selby. Interment was in Corydon Cemetery.
