Funeral services were held at the Randolph Funeral Home in Allerton Saturday afternoon, February 8, 1969, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Russell Vanderhoef officiating. Burial was in the Allerton Cemetery. Pallbearers were Robert Johnston, John Niday, Willis Gordon, Pearl Binau, Loris Edmondson and pearl Bracewell.

Elm Chapel of Lineville. Left to mourn his passing are his wife, Ruth; daughter Mrs. Helen M. Orchard of Inglewood; son Sergeant George Hamilton, serving in Vietnam and grandson Lieutenant Larry L. Hamilton at Fort Jackson, S.

Car. Also four sisters: Elsie Drake, Princeton, Ida Varney, Clella Hardstey, and Madge Howell all of Ottumwa and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral services were held from Greenlee Chapel at Lineville, Friday, February 7 at 2 p.m. The Rev. Russell Vander-hoef officiated.

In memory of Mabel Davis, who passed away five years ago February 10. Her family Obituaries HARRY D. CLARK Funeral services for Harry D. Clark, 66, of Nampa, Idaho, who died suddenly Tuesday near Cle Elum, Wash, while on a trip, were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa, Idaho, with the Rev.

Zenas Perisho of the New Meadows Friends Church, officiating. Interment followed at Kohlerlawn Cemetery. Masonic Graveside Rites were conducted by Meridian Lodge No. 47, of Meridian. Mr.

Clark was born December 15, 1902 at Lucas County, Iowa, and was reared there. He was married to Mae D. New on October 26, 1929 in Knoxville, Iowa. The couple came to the Meridian-Nampa area in 1946. Prior to his retirement, he was a millwright and had also followed the carpenter trade.

He was an active member of Meridian Lodge No. 47, A.F. A.M. of Meridian. He was also a member of the El Korah Shrine of Boise, and the Provost Guard of the Shrine.

He was also a member of the Old-Time Fiddlers Association. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mae D. Clark of Nampa, Route five; one daughter, Mrs. Betty Jo Spencer of Ukiah, one sister, Mrs.

Ruth Gartin of Seattle, two brothers, Burt Clark of Seattle, and Ed Clark of Des Moines, Iowa; three aunts, EUa Cason of New Castle, Betty Ryun of Des Moines, Iowa, and Anna Freel of Cheyenne, three nephews, Raymond, Earl, and Cecil Gartin, all of Seattle, and a niece, Doris Rutherford, of Seattle, Wash. Members of Mrs. Clark's family attending the funeral services were her brothers, Leslie New of Chariton, Iowa, and Lanford New of Banks, Idaho, and their, wives; a niece, Mrs. Ivan (Louise) Goering of Chariton, Iowa, and her husband; and Anna Freel and Margaret McLoughlin, both of Cheyenne, Wyo. WILLIAM EVERETT HAMILTON William Everett Hamilton, born at LineviUe, Iowa, March 30, 1891 and passed away February 3, 1969 in Inglewood, Calif.

He was a former member of fo) WE 101b. bag' 9s HAZEL REES Hazel Sharpnack Rees was born in Brimfield, Illinois, December 16, 1895, the daughter of William and Cora Sharpnack, and departed this life February 4, 1969 at her home west of Allerton at the age of 73 years, one month, and 18 days. She was united in marriage to Vern Rees of Humeston on February 13, 1924 and to this union one son, Robert, was born. She had been in failing health for several years. She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband, Vernone son, Robert daughter-in-law, Patricia; one granddaughter, Robin; one sister, Maude of Centerville; three brothers, William of Ames, Harry and Leo of Des Moines.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Theodore and Alfred, and one sister, Pearl. She was a member of the Christian Church of Humeston and the American Legion Auxiliary of AUerton. Funeral services were held at the Randolph Funeral Home in Allerton Thursday afternoon, February 6, 1969, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Bonnie Ratieke officiating.

Burial was in the Corydon Cemetery. Mrs. Winnie Beavers, pianist, accompanied the soloist, Mrs. Jeanie Radcliff. Pallbearers were Homer Andrews, John Crisman, John Hart, Lloyd Green, Oscar Orfield and Henry Gillman.

ALICE I. ARMSTRONG Alice I. Armstrong, daughter of William Albert Armstrong and Merry Emily Robinson Armstrong, was born September 24, 1881 and passed away at the Wayne County Hospital Thursday, February 6, 1969 at the age of 88 years, 4, months and 12 days. She was born near Farmington, Iowa and lived on the family farm west of Allerton for over 70 years. She moved into town in 1964.

She attended the university of Iowa and taught school for several years." Alice was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers. Surviving are three nieces, Sandra Armstrong Thompson, Mar-shalltown, Emily Smith of Mon- rovia, California and Ruth Davidson of Fort Dodge.
