Humeston Katie Murphy was taken to the Wayne County Hospital Wednesday where she remains a patient. Store employees had missed seeing her for several days and called neighbors, who were unable to get into the home; Hutchinson's were called and she was found unconscious on the floor. Ivan Maytun of Corydon was moved from the Wayne County Hospital to Veterans Hospital in Des Moines last Friday by Hutchinson Ambulance. Elizabeth Rushing, who makes her home at Marie's Boarding Home, was taken by ambulance to the Wayne County Hospital Wednesday. Mrs.

Mary Stevens, who makes her home at Marie's Boarding Home, celebrated her 94 birthday last Monday. Those helping her celebrate were Mr. and Mrs. Ray Monroe of Memphis, Missouri. Mrs.

Wayne Hutchinson has been confined to her bed the past week suffering from the flu. Matter Klub met Thursday with Marilyn Rayburn. The president Marie Meyer presided over the meeting. Ten members responded to roll call. Anna Knapp read, What it takes to be a leader.

During the social hour sandwiches, salad, potato chips, nuts, mints and coffee were served. The January meeting of the Womens Society of Christian Service was held at the parsonage, with Merle McClain in charge of refreshments. There will be a guest speaker. Faye McNeiley was hostess Friday to thirteen members of the Philathea Class. Lizzie Shriver president presided over the meeting.

Crystal Mace read from Psalm 19th chapter, and also gave a miscellaneous program. Refreshments of cake, coffee, nuts and mints were served during the social hour. The American Legion Auxiliary met Wednesday afternoon January 10 in the home of Phoebe Ferrel. There were seven members present. Daisy Brown of Corydon spent from Friday until Sunday with her sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Shriver. On Sunday they were guests of Mr. and Mrs.
